This blog is about my birding exploits, which mainly take place in the Weymouth/Portland area, in Dorset. Will also include stuff from elsewhere, plus some other critters too. Hope you enjoy. the key here is the surrounding plant life. These bushes are quite large, possibly a foot high, so the bird is truly enormous, possibly two metres in size. Taking into account the edging of the feathers, I unhesitatingly call this a 1st-year Ostrich.
